Footnote

Sok Fujii (藤井宗喜), was born in 1940 in Takaoka, Japan. Throughout his career, he received multiple accolades, including an Honorable Mention at the Nichigei Exhibition in 1969, the Tokyo Governor's Award at the Nichigei Exhibition in 1977, and an Encouragement Award in 1981. He has also held several solo exhibitions at renowned locations such as Maruei Nagoya (1983), Ginza Matsuzakaya (1989), and Kyoto Takashimaya (1990). His dedication to the craft has firmly established him as a celebrated traditional metalwork artist.
