In 1990, Taniguchi founded his studio, Atelier Touyusha (アトリエ陶遊舎), in Oya Town, Utsunomiya City—a region renowned for its rich natural environment. His signature "Taniguchi Green," perfected in 1995, is an enchanting deep emerald glaze admired for its clarity and depth.
