Miraku Kamei (亀井味楽)
Miraku Kamei (亀井味楽) carries forward more than four centuries of Takatori ware, one of the renowned Enshu Seven Kilns, producing tea ceramics and related work across successive generations. Takatori ware is known for its distinctive glazes collectively called Takatori yuyaku, a tradition in which combinations of clay, glaze application, and the effects of the climbing kiln are intentionally used to create varied surfaces.
