Shinbei Sakakura XII (十二代 坂倉新兵衛)
Shinbei Sakakura XII (1881-1960) was a highly influential figure in the evolution of modern Hagi ware, often referred to as the restorer of "Chato Hagi" (tea ceramics of Hagi). His contributions laid the foundation for contemporary Hagi tea ceramics, preserving and revitalizing traditional techniques during the Taisho and early Showa periods.
